CASA Eye Exams

We currently provide CASA-related eye assessments for applicants who need to meet the vision requirements for aviation licensing and certification. These examinations may include visual acuity testing, colour vision assessment (including Farnsworth Lantern equivalent exams), and an overall ocular health evaluation, depending on your CASA requirements.

As an established local practice with over 80 years of service to the community, we focus on making the process clear and straightforward. If you are unsure which examination you need, our team can help guide you before your appointment so you arrive prepared.

Appointments are typically longer than a standard eye test due to the specialised testing involved. We recommend bringing your all of your current glasses (pilots require at least one up to date back-up pair which must be sighted), contact lenses, any relevant paperwork, a list of medications, and photo identification.
